Settling down, slowing down, and saying YES to yourself


I have been a little rushy rushy myself - just one of my favorite patterns to get into - especially around this time of year. For me, the rushy rush (we call this vata energy in Ayurveda) is moving so fast I forget what I've done/ packed/made etc. And I have to go back inside my house like 3-4 x to get something I need - this is the truth, Reader!

So I have to consistently remind myself to slow down in all my ways of being: moving, thinking, speaking, planning.

This is a DELIBERATE practice.

I am dedicating myself to lunar arts practice (slow yoga practice), more seated meditation, and not saying what I am thinking right away (hardest one!!! 🫣) - oh and ocean water time!

How can you tap into the rejuvenate aspects of your embodied SELF by sloughing off patterns that aren't useful AND dedicating yourself to what is nourishing...
